Standards-driven credentialing for modern cloud security architecture
Cloud & Security Architecture Institute
Developing and certifying security-first cloud architects through architecture-led training, automation-first implementation, and defense-based evaluation.
Most engineers deploy. Few architect.
Cloud infrastructure is increasing in complexity, and AI expands both capability and attack surface. Tool proficiency alone is no longer enough. Organizations require engineers who can design secure, automated platforms and defend technical decisions under scrutiny.
What the Institute sets as the standard
- Security by architecture — IAM, segmentation, logging, threat surface thinking
- Automation as baseline — IaC + CI/CD, no click-ops drift
- Operational readiness — observability, incident workflows, signal quality
- AI with guardrails — validated workflows, human-in-the-loop boundaries
Standards. Evaluation. Designation.
Institute credentials are awarded based on demonstrated capability — real builds, real constraints, and defense-based assessment.
Architecture Defense
Live design review under questioning to validate tradeoffs, failure modeling, and clarity.
Automation-First Delivery
Infrastructure must be reproducible via IaC and CI/CD. Manual console drift is not accepted.
Security-Integrated Design
Security is a foundational constraint — not a bolted-on checklist at the end.
ACSA-F
Autonomous Cloud & Security Architect – Fellow
ACSA-F is a post-nominal designation awarded only to Fellows who successfully complete the capstone and defend their architecture before review. Not all admitted Fellows earn the designation.
Evaluation domains
- Architecture & Systems Design
- Infrastructure Automation
- Cloud Security Architecture
- Detection & Response Engineering
- AI-Augmented Operations
Only top performers qualify for final defense eligibility.
Founding Cohort Fellows
Fellows will be publicly listed. ACSA-F recipients will be listed separately upon successful defense.
Coming soon — Founding Cohort selection will be published here.
For Organizations
Sponsor engineers to elevate architectural rigor across cloud and security teams. Employer-sponsored seats and private cohorts available.
